How it all began

My husband Lou and I were married on March 5th of 2012, we lived in a tiny little house where Lou grew up. It was in the same neighborhood and not far from the one I was raised in! It was nice to be back in Michigan again and comfortable to be back in the neighborhood I grew up in but it was so small! We dreamed of buying a bigger one but after previous marriages and finances, at this point it didn't look too likely!

One day out of the Blue, an old friend and ex co-worker of Lou's called him about his house! What a house it was, could we really afford to do this now?! I believe God was smiling down on us because it all worked out like clock work, like it was meant to be...before we knew it we had moved to our new home in Lapeer! Praise God!

It was the first of November 2013. A move to beautiful and serene countryside was just the beginning of our newly married life. It was a dream come true! We had always dreamed of living in the country, little did we know that owning animals and starting our very own business was going to be realized soon! Lou took some persuading before he came around to it:) but I explained that moving to the country allowed us the opportunity to do just that.

We had Laying Hens we had bought our first spring/summer together, and before we even moved to our new home, our friend Jennifer called and wanted to give us her flock too...they didn't want to "Winter" their birds so we doubled our flock right off the bat! A collection of Farm Yard friends would follow! It really wasn't planned, it just seemed to evolve!

First with the idea of a Mini Pony... I read in a Craigslist ad Jennifer sent (as she has always done) it was an ad

for a Mini Pony!  Well, the thought had never entered my mind before this but I called just to see what they could tell me,... it was too sweet to even think at that point so I consulted with my husand. I said, "Wouldn't it be fun to own a pony!? Our Grandkids would never want to go home!"  My husband said it would wouldn't it?! I told him all about what the lady on the phone told me about Vinny, and he after some thought to my surprise he said, "If you want him then you can have him!"

Oh my gosh, I was gonna have a little pony!? A pony of my own! Just what I always didn't know I wanted!

:)~He was delivered the next day!

We were now Horse owners! Of course we had to take a trip to our new favorite store TSC right?! While talking with the friendly staff about our new home and now Farm, someone said, Our Hobby Farm had begun! It was not until then that we realized, "Oh yea!" we were now farmers! Lou told me to build a website for eggs, and it was there that I got there the idea of Mini Pony Parties and Petting Zoo!

It began to unfold. From there we saw that God had plans!

One day while searching for the things I would need for our new pony Vinny, I saw a rescue site with another Mini Pony (to keep the first company of course) a cute little Paint pony named Chief stood there in the picture with the cutest little girl holding his lead...:) The niceset lady shared her story with me and a friendship was born out of it,... She gave us our second Pony Cheif! â€‹

... they just stared rolling slowly in! We truly believe it was divine intervention! My dream would actually come true and our business would become successful. We have since been given rescue animals and over a few short months, our little farm animals were showing up on my facebook pages for all to see! I love sharing them and the love, peace and joy animals bring me. People of all ages and walks of life, began cheering me on to new heights! They would say, "We Love hearing your stories and seeing the Love and care you give to your animals, please tell us more....Our story will continue to grow from here.
